Complete Description
Part-time Mid-level provider for a busy multi-provider Internal Medicine/Family Practice: located in Kennesaw. Primary care office experience with a very strong clinical background in Family Practice including Pediatric experience. Excellent interpersonal, communications and customer service skills required. Must be a strong team player, pay attention to details and have the ability to multi-task. Computer literacy required. Familiarity with NextGen and/or EMR experience a plus.
Physician Asst. - Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree; graduate of certified Physician Assistant program. Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners or the American Academy of Physician's Assistants. Current GA licensure as a PA is required. Provides medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising physician.
OR
Nurse Practitioner- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current GA license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing. Augments a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients. Assesses diagnosis and treats patients within the scope of care defined by the Georgia State Nurse Practice Act for Nurse Practitioners.
Provides medical services to individuals, families and/or groups. Emphasizes health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management. Collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physician in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and services for quality patient care; records the normal and abnormal data for review by the physician. Orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services. Will participate in monthly Call Schedule. P/T schedule flexible.
